I can't help you much but I can tell you that Pheasants Forever was formed in 1982 and held their first fundraising dinner in 1983. Schrade USA went bankrupt and closed in 2004 so you have a 21 year window during which those knives were made. (Assuming they are USA made Schrades)

ACTUALLY THAT HELPED QUITE A BIT. ALL I HAVE TO CHECK IS IF IT WAS MADE BEFORE 2004. I GUESS SPECIAL EDITIONS WERE MADE IN USA ALSO. I SAW A SET GO UP AT AN ESTATE AUCTION FOR ABOUT 350.00. IT SEEMED PRETTY HIGH.(2ND MORTGAGE ON A HOUSE HIGH).

I WAS THINKING ABOUT 150.00. BUT MAYBE I WAS WAY OFF. THEY DID HAVE NICE BONE HANDLES.

I think they are US made, but check the box for the company name and see if it is Schrade in Ellenville NY or Taylor Brands in TN.
If it is Taylor Brands they are chinese made.
I don't remember seeing them, but the color of the Staglon looks right and the sheathes look right too.
The folks overseas haven't been able to match the color & look of Schrade's handles exactly yet.
Maybe they don't care?

Schrade did manufacture some Limited Edition Pheasants Forever knives. I have a 15tg Anniversary one in a wooden clam shell box that is laser etched on the top. Absolutely gorgeous knife!
That looks like something Schrade would have done as a give away for Pheasants Forever, however, better pictures are needed showing the tang stamps in order to be certain.

I can't be 100% certain based on the photo shown, but those knives appear to me to have what Schrade called "Staglon" handles. They were a made of delrin molded to mimic stag.

Schrade màde sets similar to yours for Ducks Unlimited and the NRA banquets. Prices among knife collectors seem to run along even to the standard models; a collector of DU, NRA, NWTF, OR PF items may pay a premium to add a nice set like yours to their collection. Those are very good knives if they are USA made (look on the tang for the USA stamp.) OH

If the Mod moves this to the Schrade subforum it might get more action. If I was a betting man, I would bet genuine U.S. manufacture by Schrade, with DuPont Delrin Staglon handles. I would expect to see $100 to $150 for this set, but you never know, maybe $60 and maybe $250. $350? Nah...
