110 bushing

Hi,
I read somewhere a while back that Buck added the bushing on the 1980 110 and that was one of the reasons that they added the third dot, then not long ago I read on a web site that Buck used two different bushing in the late 1970's, I don't remember if it was here, anyway it said that Buck used two different types of material for the bushing in the late 1970's, I don't remember what material they used, but one was galling I don't know if I spelled that right, but I suppose everyone knows what I'm saying, two different materials that start gouging after time. I really don't know why I would like to know except to see if I can feel or see a difference, the person that wrote about it had broken down some 110's . Thanks George God bless
