earlier than schrade walden, first i have seen
should be a premium $

That is a beautiful knife!
Walden Knife Co; 1874-1923 per Goins.
There is a lot of rich history in that company.
Check out this thread on Walden Knife Co.
At one time they were the largest knife company in the world, employing over 600 workers.
