All About Pocket Knives

Havent posted much here in a while just been lurking and burning up a bunch of files Heres what I've got so far on my first customized knife, new Stainless liners file worked all of the way around and rearched the backspring. It's a Case Sodbuster Jr. I figure if I have to throw the whole thing out to start over I'm only out 17 buckeroos, got a few layout issues but learned from them. Comments welcome. PM sent Muskrat

I like what you've done with the liners. Now it makes me think of what you may have planned for the backspring and blade. Keep going, it looks good.

Thanks Hukk.This one isnt getting anything on the backspring or blade, just the liners, I'm thinking of doing that on a knife that I'm going to give to my Dad for Fathers Day but I cant figure out if the filed liners will flow with the backspring and blade

Well, here they are finally... To bad I have to work for a living The one on the left is the knife above, the one on the right is another one I did. Both are handled in Birds Eye Bocote, Stainless liners and Nickle Silver pins and rivets. Please give me your thoughts The one on the right has thinner handles because I didnt like the thickness of the first one.

I am in favor of the fat one. I love the grain flow on it. Thinner scales do look better so I agree with you. But the fat one wins for looks.

Thank you for the compliments fellas. I would also like to thank you guys for giving myself and all of the others who visit here, the insight on how to get started. It is a learning process and I cant wait to do the next ones, I got two more waiting for me out in the shed.
