All About Pocket Knives

It has been a while since I could find a decent condition 18OT. This one was won for a mere $8.95 and $4.10 shipping so not bad at all. Nice thing about being in Vegas, when you don't gamble, is you have plenty of time for knife shopping online. Sorry bout the lousy pic but it was his, not mine. Should arrive next week sometime.

nice Perry do you like the linerlock?I'm having a hard time with my 197uh she wants to roll in my hand when I unlock her my hand won't close that tight

Don't know, haven't had one in years so this will be somewhat of a test.

I like linerlocks on large knives but my 197 is the first small knife with a L.L. HARD TO GET USE TOO

I hear ya Gard, I find while the 18OT is smaller, like a pen knife, it does have plenty of uses and locks up tight. I can understand why it tries to roll in your hands though. If it were any smaller, it would do the same to me. Or maybe I'm just a little more nimble. Or not!

I understand Gard, I guess if I were still working for the oil company in Texas, I would be in the same boat. Had a 55 Gal drum of oil pinch my third finger on the left hand once and made that finger totally toast! Everytime the weather changes now, it hurts. I was lucky to not have any other injuries when working there.

I picked up an 18 a year or so back. I tend to like the smaller 'peanut' type/size. But the liner lock
was kinda stiff, and being razor sharp, I was afraid of it's bite My poor fingers catch enough hell,
so that cute lil' thing is in the knife roll...

Yep, these little knives can bite too! I had nothing going on today so in my room, sharpening the 18OT on the glass tabletop. Did a fine job for lack of a true sharpening stone.

My 18OT is in my EDC rotation and I really enjoy carrying it. No issues with the liner lock at all.
