All About Pocket Knives

Just wondering if any of ya'll need a key cutter? Put it on eBay a while back and they pulled it abour 3 hours later. Said I couldn't sell it on there. Too bad, it was already up to $90.00. It's a Yale and it's all there and works. You can hook it up to a motor, or just cut keys by hand power, like my Grandpa Price did with it.
( oh, I'll throw in all the dust for free)
If you can use it, just make me a good offer on it, might even trade it for?????. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing Ken. Then I got to thinking how bad my packraticitis must be getting to want stuff that I don't even know what it is.

I'll have to pass because my little lady is shurely on the verge of kicking me out of the house. Something like this might put her over the edge

If any of you don't know what it is, it's what a locksmith uses to cut a duplicate key. You clamp the key you want to duplicate in the right hand side and clamp a blank key in the left side. As you turn the wheel, you use the cut key as a guide to cut the blank. This machine is still very sharp and can be used, as is, to cut a good key.

I'm open for realistic offers on this. It started out really well on eBay, until they pulled it.
I like good knives and will seriously consider any offers of trade. They are apparently hard to come by. The only reason I have this one is that it was in my Grandpa Price's store. He passed away in 1969 and had used it for many years. Still in great shape. Looks good when it's cleaned up. My Dad always said it belonged in a museum. It's pretty heavy, very well made. It's about 10&1/2" wide, 7&1/2" deep amd about 7&3/4" tall. I think it will fit in a flat rate box for shipping($8.10?).

Grandpa Price's store ?? Is that his last name or a chain store?

My Granpa Price's first name was Roy. He was a WW1 veteran and served in France. He got a dose of mustard gas and shook, very badly. He became a jeweler and a watchmaker, though and as long as he had a place to steady his hands, he was as good as any of them. He did the veteran service officer's job, for free(it is now a paid position). He had a little store in Canyon, TX(kind of a pre-runner to the convenience store of today), for many years.
He was a good, Christian man. In his last days, I was the only person he recognized. He had had about 7 strokes and 9 heart attacks, in 3 days, but he still knew me. He kept asking me if I had his ticket? I had NO idea what he meant, but I had a piece of paper in my pocket and handed it to him. I asked him why he needed his ticket and he said, "Everybody knows you have to have your ticket, to get on that airplane, to go up to be with God". With his ticket, clutched to his chest, he closed his eyes and boarded the plane.
Please don't make fun of my Grandpa Price. I loved him very much...

Great story Bill. I too have great memories of my grandpa. He owned a "general" store in Okla. He is the one I remember with Imperial knives
