Next year will mark the 10th anniversary of Canal Street Cutlery Company. That got me to thinking about those of us who collect their knives.........
I took inventory today of my Canal Street collection. Before I reveal how many I counted, I'd like to know about some of you other Canal Street collectors. How many have you rounded up so far?
If you have pictures let's see em.

Why do I have this mental picture of Philco standing there with one of those old-school handheld "clicker" counters, counting his knives and worrying that the counter only goes up to 9999?

I see him holding up some fingers, looking down towards his feet.

I don't even have to take off my shoes for my one and only. I bought it during my "one of everything" phase.

I collect their American Chestnut handles. I have eleven knives in that material. The AAPK 2012 FLE in American Elk makes for an even dozen.
This Swell Center is an example.

I like that Hawbaker. I've considered those several times. The "football" is just a fun pattern.

Here's my football knives. One of the oddest things I've seen produced by any cutlery company. I'm banking on them becoming quite rare and valuable someday.......maybe..........if I live long enough......
