That's a very sharply focused photo for its time.

A little crop and resizing of the factory itself might produce a viable pic of the factory.

Left click once to enlarge.

First time I've ever seen a photo of Beaver Falls Cutlery.

I assume those are The Beaver Falls in the background.

Great stuff, this.

Thanks!,I did enlarge it and thought the same thing, must have been a really fine Camera and Film.
I had trouble saving the enlarged version for some reason(old cranky Computer! :x )
My old Family Homestead wasn't but a few blocks up town from the Cutlery

That is a great picture and find cattaraugus57.

It doesn't appear as if those buildings are still standing based on a google maps view of Beaver Falls. Not too surprising I guess. Some searching on the net on Beaver Falls Cutlery indicates that it got it's start when the Harmony Society consolidated the Binns and Mason Cutlery in Rochester, PA into the new cutlery works in 1866 according to a local history. Didn't find much else out there.

No ,sadly nothing remains, the complex was used for multiple different business ventures for many many years.
Actually Beaver Falls first fire Pumper was housed in one of the BF Cutlery Buildings untl it was moved else where.

thanks guys!
