Camillus TL-29 to a Stag Barlow conversion

Here is a TL-29 conversion to a Barlow with stainless steel bolsters.
The reason for the stainless bolsters is because the customer wanted my logo on the bolsters.
I know stainless steel is much harder than nickel silver; I learned it is also much harder to shape and polish than nickel silver.
I thought it was pretty good for my first attempt of this kind. I will do some things differently next time to make it easier.

That's a handsome knife! And the Old Timer on the other page is great too. It is amazing what can be made from the TL29 pattern knives

In my wildest dreams I'd never have thought that barlow started out as a TL-29. You've done an amazing job on this one Dale.

I am cooking up a couple more things in my head, but I have so many orders right now, I won't be able to get to it for a few months.
I guess that is a good problem to have!

I missed this post also....WOW...I am trying to imagine the TL-29...just know now its an awesome Barlow...Wonderful conversion.
