All About Pocket Knives

I haven't posted anything over here AAPK in a while. I have been trying my hand at making a complete pocket knife rather than rebuilding/customizing factory knives.

Here are some pic's of my 2nd slipjoint, that I finished up this morning.

The blade and spring are O1.

The scales are Cocobolo.

The liners and locking liner are brass and the bolsters are nickle sliver.

Overall I pretty happy with how it turned out. I had to cheat a bit on getting my mark darkened evenly. I taped off the area after making a deep etch and then used gun bluing to darken it.

Thank's for the compliments, fellows. It is pretty stout Glen. The blade is .125" and the liners and locking liner are .060". It has a nice weight to it.

I plan on taking it to the Blade Show to show to a couple of friends after that it will probably end up being an x-mas gift for one of my children.
