Pair of 1183's

Had these big boys for awhile. Just getting the #1081 yesterday reminded of these and how big they are.

Hey Producer,
Is the scallop in the mark side front bolster for a better grip? Hadn't seen one like that before. I really like the looks of those big ol' knives

Treefarmer, thanks for your kind comments and question.
The scallop is there to access to the liner lock release. Pictures included.
I wish the local mom + pop gun/knife store where I found these and other gems was still around. I use to visit it once a month in the 70's and 80's. Didn't realize what a great source of gear it was until it was gone.

10-4 on that cut out. If I had looked real closer, maybe I would have seen the word "PRESS" on what I took to be the inside of the other bolster

. Interesting knives and we all probably have a store or two from days gone by that are really missed
