All About Pocket Knives

My first venture into the Queen's realm...at least officially...initital observation is the bulk and heft for a 3 1/2" jack...definitely not anorexic. Not sure what to make of the D2 tool steel yet, seems hard enough top cut diamonds. Curious to hear what current users have to say about it for a carry blade. On another note, I have a Bluegrass Cutlery Winchester whittler from the late 90's and a Robesen Shur-edge 626/636 from 1960's (?) that may both be Queen built based on commentary here? Can anyone confirm or deny?

Can't help with the makers of the Robeson or the Winchester, but the Queen ought to be a fine pocket knife. I just bought a new #39 from a member that has the same tang stamp with PH-D2 below the Queen logo and Titusville, Pa. There is a lot of tech info about D2 steel available, both pro and con as far as knives go. I for one would be proud to carry a #40 Gunstock Jack and see if I could wear it out if I wasn't already trying to wear out a '58-'60 #49 Stockman .
