Damascus steel PUMA Copperlock

It´s been a veeeeeery long time since I have bought a PUMA knife. The last I was in the market for one they came from Solingen, where else? Now years later things seem to have become quite complicated. There´s the dreaded brand PUMA IP and there are even asian made PUMAs. Some are not made in Solingen but the blades are. 
And then there are damascus steel knives. The last time I was interested in damascus steel it was scarce and very expensive. It was made by German or US bladesmiths. I stopped collecting damascus steel knives because I couldn´t afford them any longer. Fast forward to 2014: There are a bazillion different kinds of damascus steels, most of them industrial made or they come from a pakistani blacksmith shop where they are made beside AK-74 copies.
To make a long story short, I was not very interested in PUMA´s or damascus steel blades.
Then I saw this knife!
Please tell me that is was made in Solingen and the steel is from Markus Balbach or another western bladesmith! 
The box doesn´t show any hints of a foreign production.
