Does anyone recognize this mark. Nothing else just sterling and the mark.
Thanks if you can help.

Oh so Mossy one...

Maybe S-K can help. Until then, Levine's #4...pg.96...Cross and Crown (Is that what it is?)...Philip Brown.

Hey, how poetic...Cross and Crown...Philip Brown.

Oh, 1671-

P. S.
OOOOOPS...I see you plainly stated what it was. Sigh! ::doh::

Hello Folks,

I am not postive, but I believe that is a Knights Templar mark. Or at least maybe related to them.
I have one of their old swords around here someplace with that symbol on it.

What is it on? Could be later military or Christian order also.

9ball :)

As far as the meaning of the marking, 9ball may be on to something...
