hi all, here's some pictures i took as i was building a couple display cases. They are still not complete, but all of the woodworking part is done. remember,im not a cabinet maker, im a knife collector, so im sure a good eye could point out a few mistakes, but i guess they are good enough for me.

Thanks for taking the time to show us your work. It is very nicely done. I, too, use mostly recycled wood. Makes sense and you can usually get some nice wood for cheap.

Nice work! We should have a knife accessories forum for sheaths, display cases, sharpening tools and stones and so on. Nice job!

Nice work! You've put a lot into that and I am sure the knives that will fill the spaces deserve it.
Hukk.... a knife accessary forum? Good idea!

Thanks for the input. I think it would cover all the gray area's. This was presented well enough I think for it to be a sticky.

here's the first one.I made it to hold a few more barndoors, in case i added to my collection, but , it looked a little empty, so i threw a few 394's in there.I dont know if im 100% satisfied with this one,but at least its easier to monitor the celluloids under glass, rather than in a box. ::shrug::i also need to adjust a couple of the elastic straps, they look like s***.

Very good thinking about watching the Cells....
If they were mine and I placed them on a wall.
I would try to place them so the sun does not shine on them directly.
Just my thoughts.
Super looking display and well done and shown.
