Just picked this up at a local gun show and was wondering if anyone else had seen one. It is a NIB 885CAB with different colored saw cut delrin handles. The master blade is stamped Schrade+ U.S.A. LTD., no model number. the warranty paper has the year 1991 on the lower left of the us map. Anyone have any info on it, like how many they made or when the made it? I have included a photo of my 885uh for comparison thanks, Terry

Thanks Terry! Besides being unique, it is a nice knife!
I am hoping someone else may have info on this knife, maybe Eric? Anyone?
It looks for all the world like a SFO version of a 885UH.
I would love to hear what everyone else thinks, especially if you have one of these, or any other Cabela's made Schrades please post them!

Thanks Mark and Dale, I worked at the gun dept at Cabela's from 2003-2011 and it wasn't unusal for Cabela's to have other companies do sfo's for them. Winchester and ruger and Buck I know did things from time to time, I just never had seen a Schrade. It will be nice to hear if anyone else has one, I'm sure there are a lot of them around. Terry

I just picked up a Cabela's SFO with the same coloring as the OP's 885. This one's a modified 36OT with a serrated sheepsfoot but the weird thing is the clip and sheepsfoot are stainless while the punch and springs are carbon. It didn't come with a box but based on the box for the 885 I'm calling this one a 36CAB.

I think the OP knife is a legit Cabela's SFO- not much more to know. I think the second knife is more likely a put-together end-of-days during the bankruptcy shuffle. Oh... by the way, the blade selection on that little (3 5/16 inches?) guy is nice!

An EOD knife would make sense. I like the blade combo too - it's a great pattern (that maybe never was.) Serrated blades are useful to me at work so this one will get some mileage.

- It is 3 5/16" btw.

I picked up one of these 885 versions about a year ago for a steal of a price. Nice example of a simple SFO from the latter years of Schrade
