Harold,
I would consider any knives made by them. Folders, fixed blades, even tableware. Any condition.

With that said, I would prefer folding knives that are larger than 3 1/4".
As far as handle material, Stag would be tops, although I like the black pressed stag look stuff they used too. Bone is always good.

Thanks
Mark

Thanks for the plug Jody - I have over 140 LF&C's for sale right now on AAPK all accepting best offers. They don't build them like that anymore! Tom

The OP is over three years old. It appears "Ramrod" may no longer be an AAPK member.

Hi! I own a Very old LF&C,stag handled carving knife with the Universal blade etch. I don't have a pic off hand, but I can post one quickly if you are interested. I am a seller here on AAPK and would love to get this into the hands of the right collector. It's a really cool old knife and sharp as can be. Very thin blade and has what I would call a "double clip point"... It has 2 "humps" instead of the usual one you find on a regular butcher knife etc. The bolster on the knife is marked Sterling silver. It is an estate find and needs cleaning up, but there is no rust or pitting and the blade is still very full, with little to no sharpening. I will eventually list the knife in my shop, but it's not top on my list. I also have an old pearl handled LF&C folder somewhere I could drum up. Let me know if you're interested! Good luck in your search!

If you are still looking, I recently came across an LF&C stamped Universal. I will include some photos. It is a carving? knife this is 19 1/2 inches overall and has a 14 inch blade. I am getting ready to post on eBay, but will hold it until you decide if you wold like to purchase.
