Need Piece Of 1/4'' NS

Hey folks, I'm looking for a small piece of NS bar stock to make a bolster
for a Neft Safty Knife.
Need 1" x 1" minimum by .250"

Does it have to be 1/4" thick. I have a piece that is 11/64"

Thanks, Glenn, but I need to mill the slot in the bolster to clear the latch mechanism.
The 11/64" (.172") piece of stock, when clearance milled, will only leave me with .030"
wall thickness that will most likely crush while in the vice jaws. So I want to stick with .250"
to prevent this problem.
The knife supply houses only seem to carry 12" lengths of 1/4" bar stock and they want
$40 for it PLUS the shipping!!! That's over $4 PER INCH!!!

Jantz Supply is only $22.95 for 1" X 1/4" X 12" nickel silver bar stock.

I see it now... I must have overlooked it before.
Guess I'll have to stock-up on some other supplies too to make the shipping worth the cost.
