Butt kicker

You ever have that one project on your bench, no matter how much you work on it, redo it, let it sit, come back to it, you can never seem to finish it to your satisfaction? This Moki 921 was my butt kicker.

I had this knife for many, many months. I built it once and sent it to the owner. He wasn't happy with it. In retrospect, neither was I. He stuck with me and patiently left me to rebuild it and rework it on my bench several times from scratch. I finally ended up with what I felt was a decent end result and sent it to him. To my relief, he was happy with the build.
I learned a lot about my own patience (or lack of), perseverance, and doing the job until it is done right. It wasn't an especially hard build, but for whatever reason, it kicked my butt.
Anyway, here is an after pic. After spending so much time with it, I really started to like it.

I have 225Q Catt. fixed blade that I began work on with a fever about three years ago. I look at it every week and just seem stuck on how finish it. Some day... She looks real nice to me 
I'm with ya on the patience thing. I never used to have much. But I'm getting better thanks to my tinkering with knives. As always Glenn your knives rock brother!!
