Bob Neal whittler

I ran into Bob Neal at a knife show this past weekend and just had to bring this one home. Splitback whittler w/mammoth ivory handles and ATS-34 blades. Fit and finish is top notch! He told me that he uses no mills or surface grinders and the only jig or fixture in his shop was his thumb.

What a nice looking, hard to make, knife that is. That ivory to bolster matchup could not have been easy.

Thanks guys! I'm proud to own it for sure. Joe, those concave bolsters are one of the reasons I bought it. Almost all of his multi blade knives that he had there were like that.
