Well, dogg, to tell you the truth, I don't really care. The round bolster might be easier to pack in a big knife, but I've learned to put up with most anything.
It's like going swimming with a girl; I don't care if she has light hair or dark hair.
I would just be glad I was going swimming with a girl. :D

Two nice ones Joe. I really like the 44s.

And also 2 fine examples of what I consider to be true XX green bone and USA red bone. I was discussing with another member one time that if I recall correctly, he stated red bone was not made in USA era as it is not in the books. I have great respect for this member. I looked and sure enough, he was correct with a few exceptions on some transition congress or some other transition knife, at least in the books I have. I had to politely disagree with this gentlemen that I respect and the book authors also.
I believe the older CASE price list at least pre-80s, just said bone not the color. Not like today with 90 different sexy names of handle colors.

Sorry, didn't mean to detract from the beauties you posted. Nice knives! Great analogy also by the way!
