Well, dogg, to tell you the truth, I don't really care. The round bolster might be easier to pack in a big knife, but I've learned to put up with most anything.

Two nice ones Joe. I really like the 44s.
And also 2 fine examples of what I consider to be true XX green bone and USA red bone. I was discussing with another member one time that if I recall correctly, he stated red bone was not made in USA era as it is not in the books. I have great respect for this member. I looked and sure enough, he was correct with a few exceptions on some transition congress or some other transition knife, at least in the books I have. I had to politely disagree with this gentlemen that I respect and the book authors also.
I believe the older CASE price list at least pre-80s, just said bone not the color. Not like today with 90 different sexy names of handle colors.
