Would you consider microtech and protech to be about the top of the line in switchblades? Really just interested in the ones that are side opening. Thanks

Never had a microtech but I do have a protech. It is a great knife. Rock solid.
One of the few that I have handled that has zero movement in the blade in the open position.

In the commie state where I live, switchblades are prohibited. I have one and love it, it's a Benchmade knife and solid as a rock! I believe I can own it legally............it just can't leave my property.........imagine that! I have a CCW and can carry my .45 anywhere (just about) but not my switchblade.
I don't have pictures of it on this computer, but if your interested I can take a couple.

I agree with cutty on the Protech** all I have had were "rock solid""

_________ Never owned a Microtech, ( just too high$$$$ for me to want one bad enough** ) --- I did go the other way and have owned several of the "'Pirahna Auto's""____ they are (IMHO) a Protech for half the $$ cost** very well made knives in U.S.A. -- check them out while you are shopping**______good luck,Monk

You know what's really insane..........many of the knives these days open just as fast of faster than a switchblade and they're perfectly legal. Yet the fools that run this country won't remove the the old law.
