I had this custom made for my first grandson by Clarence DeYong.
The blade was made from a Vintage Rasp and the handles are made from a Cherry Burl my son harvested some years ago from the families hunting land.

As for you Keith, that right there is one fine looking piece of hardware. How much of a hand did you have in the design. Way cool buddy.

Very cool rasp knife. Those used to be pretty common around here, although not near as nice looking as yours. That sure is a treasure to pass down.

That's a beautiful, well made knife from a rasp in the op and one anyone would be proud to own. On the other side of the coin look what I found while browsing on Craig's List. Imagine the hours this poor soul put into making these knives. Kind of like what were they thinking?

Bob, while ozzie did an outstanding job on his blade, some struggle. Most importantly this guy is trying. His asking prices may be a little off kilter but the market will cause adjustment. He/she does have one possibly two (by my eye) that aren't to bad, many look like oyster shuckers!
Thanks for the link......it was fun!
