Should I buy this knife for this price?

Hey guys I would like your opinion please. I was at my local antique mall and found a nicely used Uncle Henry Shrade+ LB8 U.S.A with bone handle and leather case. His bottom price is $45.00 and will not budge. Is this an OK price?
As well, an old Imperial Kit Carson with sheath. This one has been used well asking $28.00.
Please keep in mind these are Canadian $'s and prices are generally higher here.
Thanks, and looking forward to your responses.

Try the sold list on Ebay to see if you can find a knife the same.

Grant's advice is sound. Study those completed listings as to condition, as well as price. Also, be aware that LB8s do not have bone handles, nor does the Kit Carson. They are made of DuPont Delrin plastic.

I checked the sold listings on ebay and if you can get an LB8 for $45, I would jump all over that, especially in the knife is in excellent or better condition!
BTW, the handles of an LB8 are not bone, but Staglon; Dupont Delrin formed to look like stag.
If it is a factory LB8 with real bone or stag handles the price is considerably higher, but they are
very uncommon.

If the Kit Carson is clean and has the etch in tact, it may be well worth the $28

Sitting Bull, when you are looking on ebay, bear in mind that knives are listed in US dollars. If you were to buy the same knife on ebay for $45, by the time you paid shipping and exchange, it would likely cost you close to $70. Forty-five dollars Can for a LB8 in fairly good conditions seems like a good deal, as Orvet previously advised.
