My first Case Hobo

I just finished this one up this morning for a client. This is the first hobo I have ever done, I liked having the extra thcik center liners to play with, alot more canvas to paint on. He told me a general outline of what he wanted and told me to use my imagination with the filework. Filing the center liners seperately in various patterns didn't work (tried on scrap brass the same thickness) so I got the bright idea to lock them in place and file them as one, so when the knife is assembled it is a vine bordered by a modified vine on each spring and 1/4 of the blade. He specified no bolsters, one pin and desert ironwood.

VERY KOOL set MM.

I often wondered how I can use the knife and fork at the same time to cut my HOBO steak.

I see now you need 2 HOBO's....
