If memory serves Sabre Knives were good, work-a-day knives made in Japan and imported during the 1970's and 1980's. Your's has the agreeable lines of a Texas Jack. OH

Your knife doesn't look Colonial to me, if yours is USA made it looks Imperial to me (like a Frontier by Imperial) but it could very well be Japanese. Does the tang have a country of origin stamped on it? OH

I have a Sabre Monarch USA #205 3ΒΌ" Medium Jack. Other than it being made in USA, I didn't give it much thought when I bought it but now that you mention it, IMO it does have a Schrade group (Schrade/Ulster/Imperial) flavor to it. Look at the jigging on the handles. The rest of my Sabres were made in Japan.

Boy, that knife sure looks "Schrade" made to me. Jigging, delrin, and the clip looks like the Walden era clips.

I agree, it does have a Schrade look about it. It looks like it would make a real fine edc.

Schrade/Ulster made some Sabre and Monarch knives in the 60's including that one. You see very few of them. Colonial made some later, in the 80's.
