I like everything about it. It looks very useful, and has an understated elegance to it. I really like the lines on this one. And the sheath is nice too.

Really a sweet little knife, Kaleb. I like the built in guard. Is the tang tapered? The blade appears to be thin. Must cut like a dream. What is she oak?

Thanks men, tang is tapered on this one but standard models won't be (though it's available at additional cost). I don't know what she oak is, a guy sent it to me several years ago with a bunch of other exotic woods back when I first started. I don't care for how it works, a bit soft

I love the clean, sharp grind lines on this one.
I like the grind on it much better than the 154OT.
The 154OT is much too thick at the heel of the blade to get it sharp.
Yours looks like it won't have that problem!

I see you noticed the schrade influence in my design . Yes I always liked that model of knife but the last half of the blade was pretty much useless because of the way they ground the blade. I have put this kind of grind on schrades with that grind before and it turns them into wonderful knives. I have one of their gut hook 154OT (I forget the model) with bad handles I need to rebuild some day and put a proper grind on.
