Rounding up some Stags.

The first time i saw one of these etchings, i had to keep going and get the set. After some research i discovered that there were 5 knives in total.
My next task was to keep a keen eye out for them when they bobbed their heads up, 'on the bay'. Some 2 years later and the task was completed.
I am very pleased with this lot, and they now have a prominent spot in my cabinet. Aren't they a bunch of lookers...hope you like them.

Yes, I like them! I've never seen any one out of the set before - funny, cause you'd think gunshops and gunshows is where they would have been sold? Thanks for showing! OH

I have not seen that etch before either.
Do you have any history on them?

Hi Dale,
Thanks for asking the question, because i haven't been able to find anything at all on the etched Sharpfinger's.
If anyone can provide any information on this set, then i would be most grateful. I hate it when you have all of something special, but none of the history.

Guesses are cheap and common, but if I were to offer one, it might be North American Hunting Club. There are 3 species there but of course one might wonder about moose, sheep, etc. I wonder if Eric Albers might have an idea?

I am beginning to go through the SMKW catalog back issues. I found the answer to these etched 152UH's in the January, 2001 issue. There were indeed five different artworks as listed above. They sold for $14.99 each and the ad states they were limited to 1,500 of each etch.
