I call this one the Hoblow. A hobo with long barlow type bolsters of stainless steel with a satin finish, arrowhead center liners bordered by vines, polished exterior rams horn handles and brass pins.

These hobos were fun projects and I look forward to doing more.

They all look great! Outstanding filework on all. OK, I just got to pick a favorite and it's #3. The vine filework is very nicely done and the arrowhead filework down the center accents the vine very well as the vine accents the arrowhead. They work very well together for being so different. I like Rams horn a lot, though I've had pieces that did not smell so great on the sander.
Last but not least, I'm a sucker for a Barlow, so that long bolster reall does it for me. ::tu:: ::tu:: Great work on all.

I'm not sure which one I like best. Send me all three and I will do a very careful and exhaustive evaluation and let you know which is best. Might take a while. I'm kinda busy. TRUST ME. I'll send them back ::nod::

Thanks Everyone for your fine commnets.
Nice try Bill

For me it's a tossup between the rams horn and the buffalo horn, I like the buffalo horn, handle shape and short bolsters of that one ,but I like the filework of the rams horn one best, only maybe if I had had an extra set of thick liners to do liner filework on the hoblow! that would have been a time consuming but rewarding project!
