TL-29 mod in Rams Horn

I just finished this one recently, thought I'd share it.
Teardrop caps, interior rams horn, shield, modified screwdriver blade, threading.

I have developed an obsession with Rams Horn handled knives. That punches all my buttons and then some. Love, love, love it!!!!

Wow Glenn, a teardrop easy open from TL-29?
That is mighty ambitious, but I must say you pulled it off better than most factories ever did with that pattern!
Your finish on that rams horn is spectacular and that is not the easiest material to work with.

Impressive! I've always thought about regrinding the screwdriver into something useful. Nicely done!
How was the horn to work with? I've never used the stuff. It's gotta smell fabulous when you grind on it

I've found the rams horn pretty decent to work with. It shapes well and sands quick, so you have to be mindful of that, but it polishes well. The only thing you have to watch is that it's got a memory, so I try to rough shape it as flat as possible so it won't pull off the covers.
And yeah, it does stink pretty good!
