Grail 2OT Found

Have spent a lot of time looking for a Schrade 2OT that I could afford and finally found one this week. Knife is unused, no box and has been personalized with previous owners name. I know it drops the value but I kind of like it.
It shipped out of Walden NY, looks like it never made it far from where it was made.

Congrats!
I always keep my eye out for them too, if you're an Old Timer fan, they are sorta the "pinnacle" acquisition
I don't think the personalization makes that big of a difference (at least not to me). It's tastefully done, in a professional manner. It's not like a TL-29 where someone scratched thier initials into it with a sorta-sharp nail, right

Thanks guys, Blister it was Ebay, lucked into it after it had just been listed with a buy it now that was half or less of what they usually sell for. I guess my obsessive refreshing of new listings paid off.

Congratulations. They are so hard to find these days (especially in that condition) that about as close as you can come is a Great Eastern #77 Washington Jack and they're getting almost as difficult to find as a Schrade 2OT. Beauty example you have there.

Hak1911,
That sure is a Grand Speciman of a knife! I saw this post and then had to dig out my catalog sales sheets to refresh my memory....those were made in 1959-1961. TherE was also a 3 OT made in 1959. These beauties sold for $27.00 per dozen during that time frame.
I do not have the numbers of the 2 OT that were produced, however, there were only 13 of the 3 OT knives produced. I am fortunate enough to own the Schrade Factory Collection 2 OT and 3 OT, MINT condition. I have yet to come across another 3 OT as they are that Rare. I may have the only Mintbone still in existence.
Your knife is truly a beautiful piece, and Thank you for sharing it with us.
Tom
