Would you say this justifies buying a KK straight razor?

Sure!! ( as long as you don't use it to try to set a bevel, otherwise, you'll have a nice beard before you get it done)
Those are used to refresh a good edge.
KK made, or had made, strops with the KEEN KUTTER logo as well.

LOL I used to shave with a straight razor a very long time ago.I now have a beard.
