Isn't it a Cunningham Radio Tube advertising knife ? I've got a couple of them, they are hard to come by. The last one I saw on Ebay had RADIO stamped where the pattern number would have been. One of mine has been carried so much that all the detail from the tube shield has worn away. I think they are listed in Sargent's book but I'm not sure if they were ever assigned a pattern number or not. As a general rule Remington advertising knives did not have a pattern number stamped on the tang.

Probably no pattern number. Cunningham radio rube. Radio knife. Rare!! Sargents premium guide #5 page 425. The radio stamp on ebay looked bogus. Appeared to be stamped one letter at a time and not lined up like a factory stamping. Also main blade looks mint with etch over a dull brushed finish and the rest of the knife looks well worn with even the shield having all the detail worn off. Wire stipper also not right?

You are correct, the knife wasn't 100 % authentic. When the etch is crystal clear and the finish on the main blade is spotless, and the punch blade tang shows moderate pitting and heavy wear, then it's usually not correct.
