Schrade 291 mod

Well, I finally finished this one. Had it on my bench for quite awhile.
I replaced the stock covers with some amber stag, and cleaned up as much of the corrosion on the blades as I dared to. Very snappy for an old and used knife. Before and after...

As with all your work it looks great ! just curious ,,,,, what was wrong with it stock , was the back cover thrashed?

Looks pretty good for an old girl! I personally suck at shields, so anyone that puts one on a knife gets double bonus points from me!

Thanks. The original covers were kinda washed out and faded on the back. I figured since the blades were used and pitted, a change in clothes wouldn't hurt.
