possible thread description elucidation

I wish we could delineate the difference between "your old Schrade" and "your latest Schrade." It seems we all have different definitions. One possible definition of "old Schrade" would be pre-Delrin (pre-1961)? What do you think?

I think the idea to have old knives in the same thread is very good, however 1961 as a cut-off date is difficult for all except experienced Schrade collectors.
How about making Schrade Walden 'old' and Schrade, 'recent' ?
