All About Pocket Knives

In a recent purchase there were 11 Bulldogs and I know little to nothing about Bulldogs. I am posting photos of 3 of the knives and am looking for any info you might be able to give me on these.
The trapper is a little over 4 inches long.
Any idea as to age or generation of these?
Any idea what they might have called the handles on these. I am ok with the coon stripe handles but the others are a mystery.
I didn't really know enough to search eBay for values so if you have any ideas as to value, I will be glad to get the info.

Bulldog had/has some of the best looking celluloid in the business. And, it appears to be real stable also.

Can't help you, unfortunately. I am familiar with the Coon Stripe, but the other two beauties are not familiar to me.

Ray, I can't help you a bit with info or value. But I must say, the blade layout on those trappers is fantastic. Very nice knives.

The muskrat is butter & Molasses. The trapper is Blue stripe. They are all 1st generation knives. Value around 100 retail per knife. Produced 1978-86 in quantities of around 300 each.

You are welcome Ray. Parker had these patterns made in the 2nd generation around 1991 as well but they had Acorn shields as opposed to the mountain man, muskrat, and coon shields in the 1st generation. Nice knives.

Very neat shields, too. Being an old coon hunter, I particularly like that one, along with the hounds. Wonder why in the heck he etched 'English' on some of the blades? I was told it was representative of English steel. Wasn't it really German steel?
I think I'll put these in the 'Advertising' section and see what happens.

The English etch on the blades is for English the coonhound breed. The English Steel that is on some of the tangs I believe you are right, it was all German to my knowledge.

Yeah Ray, that was me...lol... I have kind of been on a "Bulldog Frenzy" this week... However, I am always looking for the Bulldogs, please keep me in mind if you run across some more. Have a good day buddy.
