Too many choices...

Picked up this Walden 8OT dirt cheap. Since the original owner carved his name in it, got it for the opening bid. Figured it would be a good candidate for a bone upgrade and make for a cool EDC show-off knife. Pleasantly surprised it was hardly used, has full blades and excellent snap.
But now I'm torn on which scales to go with. I could use some scales from parts off a couple of other 8OTs I have apart and keep it original, or go with some new unused scales. Either of those choices would make for a good EDC user and not just for showing off. Then I have a couple of other new scales. A maroon Delrin with the coin shield and brass threaded bolsters. Or redbone Heritage 1983 scales. Think the latter two choices would look stunning against an aged OT blade with a polished edge and swage. Think if the 1983 Heritage scale had 1963 on the shield, it would be a no brainer. Then there is the option to send it to Herman, but I've almost ruled that option out because I have another 8OT I'm thinking on sending to him.
Would it be possible for a jeweler maybe, to change the 83 on the Heritage scale to a 63?
