Black stagged celluloid.
I was told this had been displayed with both blades fully open. The main blade opens and locks up nicely. The small blade is so quick it pops back before you can get your finger off the button.

That is normal for these knives. Most times the small blade fires too hard and needs to be pushed back to the open position, it even happens with the large blade on some.

That is a good looking knife you have there, though. I have several in mint condition and several more that are fairly well used and they all have different levels of that same problem.

I have bone, celluloid, stainless, sterling silver and gold plated ones in my collection. Another of my favorite models.

Found it on Offerup. Got a great deal. I've had a couple small format autos knives over the past few years. Buy them cheap, enjoy them for a while, then pass them on so I can buy more. My best was a Hatch Cutlery knife, Wilzin patent. Plain handle, sold it some years back on eBay.
I have a Pressbutton Hunter with a broken spring. Know anyone who repairs them?
