All About Pocket Knives

"This is an unknown brand pocket knife that features a 3 1/2"" knife with a bottle opener on the bottom and
a fish scale remover on top. The knife is engraved along the ending of one side with G? and higher up the
knife with a P that is situated to the left and in the middle of a set of 2 numbers that are stacked on top of
one another 21706? and 226173. The ? mark at the end of G? and 21706? means there are probably 1 or more
letters or numbers after them that I could not read because of rust and/or chrome deteriorations. The knife
handle is a bright red with blotches of silver made of plastic or bakelite. This knife has rust and chrome
deteriorations.
Note: During research, I saw a picture and thought this might be known as a Texas toothpick knife.
My questions are as follows:
Who is the maker of this knife?
What is the model of this knife?
What do you think knife value might be in this current state?

This being your 1st post, I you to the friendly forum. I see you joined quite a while back so you have been 'lurking' for a spell.
I can't answer the more important parts of your post but I can answer a question or two.
The knife is made on the toothpick frame but it is usually called a fish knife or a fisherman's knife. If the maker's name is not stamped on the tang of the blade, we may never know who made it. As to value, not much. In that condition and if I were to put it out on my table at a show, I would put $5, or maybe $8 on it and take whatever I could get.
Probably not what you were hoping to hear but that is best I can do.
Maybe someone will stop in and give us info on who might have made it.

There are a number of brands that could be stamped under that rust but as Ray said, a Fish Knife.
There's a very good chance it was made by Imperial (it's a shell handle)
No offense intended (to you or Ray) but I think Ray's a little high at $5. I would expect to see it in the $1 (or maybe the 50¢) bucket at a flea market. (Ray sells at knife/gun shows)

As a general rule, a clear, sharp, well lit image of the tang stamp and the reverse side will give you tons of information on a knife.

The tang stamp will give you the makers name, and sometimes the date it was manufactured, and the reverse, or reverse of another blade if it has more than one, will generally give you a pattern number. Those two bits of information are critical in determining make, model, and year if possible.
