Hello,

Can someone please help me identify and date this antique Marbles knife? A possible price would also be appreciated.

Thank you!

You got yourself one heck of a dandy there !!! The stamp is the 1911-1930
3 line left facing serif A on it.....BUT.....I know for a fact as I have seen 2-4
Trailmakers with that stamp on them that did not come from the time frame
As the last few Trailmakers were made app. 1970, Marble's brought back and put that stamp on
a few of them and on a few 7-8 inch Ideals....
but...I have never saw one with the old turn of the century Marble's Trade Mark stamped on
the off side like yours...super rare in my neck of the woods !!!
Value could very well approach $750.00-$1000.00,, maybe more,, if knife was closely looked at and confirmed
I have a 2005 Stag on Stag Trailmaker just like yours in my store if you want to look for blade comparision
A real looker for sure............

OK, Blueglassbottle,, there needs to be a good story that goes with a knife like that one. If there isn't a good story that goes with it, it is your duty and responsibility to make one up!
Seriously tho, it is a beautiful knife and we'd love to hear about it.

I have another person telling me this is a Trailmaker from the 70's because of the rollercoaster stamp on the backside? any thoughts on this?
