The first is just a run of the mill TL-29 mod. Teardrop bolsters, jigged amber bone, bar shield, swedge cut into blade.
This other one was a GEC 42 lockback. Burlap micarta and fish shield. Before and after...

very nice. The TL looks like a completely different knife. Love the fish shield on the GEC, that one's "Off-the-Hook"...

Yes, I have in the past. Doesn't come up as a request that often, and can be tricky to work with.

The TL-29 is a beautiful transition into the teardrop; the bone looks great.
I love the fish shield on the GEC!
