Apparently LT's dad has passed.
LT, I know you suggested no condolences are necessary, but nonetheless, I am sorry for his passing.
Having gone through both my parents and my wife's parents' passing, I understand a bit of how you may feel. It's inevitable, but painful nonetheless.
May he rest in peace, and may you feel at ease with his passing,

My condolences as well LT. Although it's a tough, sad time for those of us who are left behind , you can at least take comfort in knowing that his suffering is over and he's now at peace. If your values and principles are a reflection of his influence on you, he must have been a hell of a guy.
