All About Pocket Knives

Just curious if anyone on here has had to send in a knife or tool to Leatherman and what their warranty policies might be.
I tried their web site but there is no contact info on there other than a phone #.
The reason I'm curious is I bought a Leatherman Wingman multi-tool today for $5. It looked to be in good shape except the tools seemed a little loose in the handles which I figured was an easy fix. Well it was but when cleaning it I noticed that the knife blade did not lock in the open position. Further inspection revealed that the liner lock was broken off the frame.
The only thing I can figure is there must have been a flaw in the heat treating as there is no way to put enough pressure on the liner lock(due to it's location)to snap it off.
My question is:Does anyone know if Leatherman will warranty a tool that does not appear to have been abused but is not in the possession of the original purchaser. Also if anyone has an e-mail address for them it would be greatly appreciated.
The knife can still function properly;it just doesn't lock into the open position.

They will fix it no matter the shape/age/owner.. John

Thanks to all who replied. Glad to know they are so good with warranty problems. Strange as this may sound I may not send it back as the lack of a locking blade isn't a real issue with me and the rest of it is in great shape.
One thing I noticed is it has a folding blade that looks like a rooster nutter.First time I've seen one of those on a multi-tool.

I sent in two Leatherman Kicks, each with an issue or two. One was a broken tool, the other was a missing screw and something else which I've forgotten what. Both were replaced with a brand-new Wingman plus the heavy duty optional sheath.

By the way, that "rooster nutter" tool is for opening plastic blister paks and it works great.

My son-in -law gave me a wore out, completely used, bent piece of crap Supertool. I sent it to them and they sent a new one built from parts they had on hand. No cost except for shipping.They do stand behind their warranty. ftd

A family friend helping us work on the fences broke the plier jaw on my ST300, and I'd twisted the small screwdriver, it was repaired no questions ask.

Broke a Squirt PS4's pliers bending a coat hanger, it was completely replaced.
