Just got in from the flea market and was trying to figure out the pattern number for this Cattaraugus knife I picked up. It is a small serpentine measuring 2 3/4 inches long. Unfortunately both backsprings are broken. But for one dollar, I couldn't leave it there. (Also got the little pearl Case 9233 for a buck!)

Based on the illustrations in "Goins", it appears to be a 22659 or a 22659-SS, except that the blades are reversed. Calls it a 2 3/4 inch "Peanut".

Tjmurphy, thanks so much! It's a shame about the backsprings on mine, but I'll tuck it away and enjoy it the way it is.

It's a Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr8 looking knife and worthy of repair. I think that muskrat man has made backspring repairs. Give him a shout and see what he says, he's a very capable repairman.
