Frank Carlisle folder........

Posted this on the Q&A forum but figured I might get more info here. Bought a little folder today with faux pearl and turquoise handles and a ton of file work.Blade etched in script:"Frank Carlisle" on one side and,"Detroit" on the other. A copy of Knives 2002 has him listed as being in their 2000 edition on page 72. Anyone have that edition of have any info on him? Tried doing a search and come up dry. Here is a pic of the knife.
