OKAPI info

good evening all. I was given this knife by my boss, it was her fathers and I want to give it back to her if it is of any value. any info on this knife would be much appreciated. thank you
Welcome to the forums! Okapi was an inexpensive shell handled knife made in Germany in the 1950's I believe. There is actually very little information on them that I have run across.Supposedly the animal pictured on the knife is indigenous to South Africa. I only have one knife with that stamp and it is not of the greatest quality.
I would return the knife to the girl as it belonged to a family member and to me those are priceless no matter the intrinsic value of the knife.
