Hello,

Another tinker's folder for today, to bring sunshine into this misty, melancholic day.
I made this one with a harpoon blade forged of motorcycle chain!
Hope you guys like it :)

That's way cool. I do like it. Doesn't look like the easiest knife to make? Interesting locking mechanism. ::tu::

I don't know how comfortable it would be to use, but it looks awesome!

That is a very cool knife. I found some of your other work just by searching the internet and all of your work is VERY nice. Thank you for sharing.

Glad you like it! It needs a barbarian to wield it of course ;)

It is a gorgeous knife. I second the thoughts on the lock as well. ::tu::

From the pictures it appears to be a 4-5 inch knife yet you say it takes a Barbarian to wield... How large is it?

It has a 10 cm blade, the full length is around 22 cm when opened.
I was referring to the gentleman's comment on its comfiness, when I mentioned a barbarian, since their palms aren't comparable to one of a princess ;)

Ahhhh Comfy.... I wouldn't know. My hands are like leather slabs with bones in them somewhere.

That is an impressive knife design. The bike chain is very fitting for such a beast.
Now I wonder just how many miles are on it?

Hahaha! Yeah I know what you mean, when I try to gently pet my dog, she runs away in pain! :)
No Idea on the mileage, sorry.

Awesome design!
Not sure what to call it, maybe functional steam punk? I certainly love the unique design! ::tu:: ::tu::

Thanks a lot! :) Should put some brass on the next one, to enhance the steam punkiness :D

What a unique design, and I mean that in a complimentary way. I like that. Very cool!

What I liked about it is the fact that everything seemes to be functional and have a purpose. Too much of steam punk just seems to be ornamental and have no functions, gears that turn other gears but really serve no functional purpose.

What I admire about yours so that everything seems to have a purpose in the design of the knife.

You have a valid argument, Sir! :) I will need to investigate the issue further
