I'm going to Northern Italy to see if the wine is as good as smiling-knife says it is..

Howdy folks,
We just got back last night from the lovely

10 hour flight from Milan, Italy into Miami International then made the 3 hour ride north to the house.
I wanted to put up a couple pics of what we got to see while we were there..
We went to Monte Bianco the highest mountain (15,774 feet) in the Alps and Western Europe, a big 9.9 on the wow factor

. We also visited Padova, Milan and took a river cruise into Venice and visited all the little houses that the Venetian rulers built a few hundred years ago. The one in the picture is where Hitler and Mussolini signed their first treaty to be partners in WWII, it also was owned by this little guy named Napoleon Bonaparte.
And to finish it off my boss got us the VIP tour of an Italian Winery managed by his brother in law.
I looked for knives but didn't see anything that caught my eye and could not get on Ebay for cheaper. The dollar is 1 to 1.38 Euros right now so we tried not to spend too much, it hurt too much..
Ciao,
Sunburst

Glad you had a safe trip...and thanks for sharing some pictures. It's still about 105 here, so the snow was a pleasant sight.

I wanted to say that I believe that I have the best employer in the world. He pays for everything on the trips he sends us on, in his way of saying thanks for a good job.
It sure beats the $25 gift certificates I used to get at other jobs..

This small town country boy appreciates the incredible generostiy shown..I am confident I could never afford these trips on my own...Besides how could I afford to purchase knives if I went on these trips, you know the knife purchasing would win out..
