This knife has been brought to my attention by my friend Tom. The handles have been on it for years, but I have never seen wood on one of these Saddlehorns. Perhaps a Case expert or two could help us out?
Are they original Case Tested handles??
Thanks!!

FWIW, Sargent's 7th lists this pattern with bone, yellow composition, and imitation onyx handles. No wood. Someone may have another resource that will confirm or refute this. I'm thinking the wood handles on the knife look like replacements, and the knife likely had original yellow synthetic (celluloid) handles, which from that era are notorious for deteriorating. So someone did a nice job of replacing them with wood. JMO.

That's a nice looking knife but the wood appears replaced and the pin has been changed to a metal not matching the bolsters. I don't remember seeing that kind of wood on any knife. ___Dave

Definitely a rehandle. Case made very few patterns in wood, and that was not one of them.
