Rooting around in my safe, arranging stuff so I can find it more easily, I found these safe-queens and thought they deserved a picture/scan!

You thought correctly sir. Those are four great Barlows.
I keep falling in, and out of love with Barlows but it is because I haven't found any of that caliber yet.
It is nice to see some great knives to re-kindle the fire.

Thanks Glenn and Ken!! Glad you both enjoy them!!
Ken, I've had the Barlow bug for a long time now. Those knives took a lot of seeking!

Just amazing Charlie, they're gems for sure, actually better. If you laid some diamonds out and put those knives next to them, I'd be all over the knives LOL! Your collection continues to astound me.

Charlie wouldn't you feel even better if you shared the wealth ?
You know, give us less accomplished collectors a chance to get a "Charlie knife".
These 4 Barlows are likely the top examples in existence. I do appreciate the chance to see what "mint" refers to. It helps me to be more realistic about my knives.

I suppose those Barlows are an example of what knifeslinger#81 was talking about when he said :
"...this was before the old timer and uncle henry line, the days of peachseed bone, mother of pearl, hardwood, colorful celluloid, and more rarely stag. These were the knives that were truly excellent, the finest of all Schrades".
I've already started my search for pictures and posts of the 8813 but these Barlows sidetracked me.

I wonder if there are any cut cos with celluloid in this condition.
I can't stop marveling at how you guys end up with knives like these Barlows in such condition. Maybe that can be another thread. Thanks to AAPK for the opportunity to share them, and upnorth of course.
